For those about to...process by graemestevens

For those about to...process

There's too much to do today, so this is what it looks like before I get my filthy little hands on a shot and some serious Lightroom. So, I'm not very good really, the magic is in the computer...
Ah, but those magic fingers, dancing across the keys........

@mothermalarky You make me sound like Liberace!
July 4th, 2015
Not exactly the picture I had in my head :))
July 4th, 2015
We beseech you
July 4th, 2015
Wow. Blue.
July 5th, 2015
Come on I didn't take you for the modest type..

Lik the after better!

Like the after better!

@mothermalarky I dread to think...
@kevin365 I do like it when people get on their knees
@bigugly Terrible isn't it?
@jack4john Oh but I am...and shy and retiring too
@janiskay You and me both

Wow, so maybe after all you are a mere mortal and just ETSOOI...
Mind you, I still wouldn't be able to create anything half as good as the shots you produce even if I had lightroom/photoshop etc :)
July 5th, 2015
No, you mean there is colour and blue skies in your world?
July 5th, 2015
I do like the absolute moodiness of the treated shot but I like this more. It is a beach though so it doesn't have to try too hard. I love the wet stones, the pov but best it the curved horizon as though I am looking at the edge of the world.

@alinz Thanks very much - yeah, I'm just a plain old mortal ;)
@888rachel Unfortunately, yes. It must be stopped.
@claireuk Thank you very much - the wonders of a wide angle lens (which I love for these shots)

I can only say "teach me how to ETSOII". You have some awesome skills there!
July 5th, 2015
lovely outcome!

@whimsicalgrateful Thanks very much :)
@pusspup Thanks very much :)
July 5th, 2015
@graemestevens the colour is pretty but the B&W suits better - and I woudn't call what you do ETSOOI - you take away the colour and maybe faff a bit
July 5th, 2015
The magic is in how you use the computer and you do it very well.
July 5th, 2015
@andy3168 Thanks very much - sometime I get it right
@annied Thanks, I prefer the B&W as well...and it's a lot of faffing
July 5th, 2015
Great POV and view!
July 5th, 2015
@kwind Thanks very much
July 5th, 2015
Intrigued to know how much you can see the finish product when you take the shot
July 5th, 2015
@graemestevens maybe your faffing takes the scenic route
July 5th, 2015
Cool pov!
July 6th, 2015
@rachelwithey There's the trick - I generally know what look I'm aiming for...usually. Sometimes it takes me by surprise though.
@cocobella Thanks very much

Oh, so the veil has been lifted!! How disappointing.....there is actually color in your shots when you first take them.....and, then your mind and computer process them in B&W! Very impressive!
July 7th, 2015
@panthora I don't cope well with colour at all ;)
July 7th, 2015
Hope you have time for processing tomorrow. I wouldn't want the color to stress you too much.
July 14th, 2015
@texastrails That remains to be seen!
