A hazy morning at Waiwakaiho (it's easier to say when you're drunk, but I just call it Why Whack a Hoe). If this colour keeps sneaking into my shots I may very well end up ripping someones arms off and beating them to death with the bloody stumps.

I really like this. I wouldn't worry to much, it's only cheerful by comparison. And it's a dark gold sunrise, not that pretty purple/pink.
As others noted, the swirling birds add a sense of mystery.
Your colors are still muted and brooding, in a very nice way, so it still looks like one of yours. I like the wheeling birds. The hazy sun looks like "the day after" something awful happened. :)
