First Light by graemestevens

First Light

Nothing to see here, just showing off because our new wood burner is finally in, up and running and providing a deep sense of satisfaction and joy to my pyromaniac soul.
You are your fire!!
July 17th, 2015
Have you been collected all that driftwood from your beaches for the fire? Doesn't look like that - neatly cut pieces in there! Its hard to make the camera focus on flames, I find!
July 17th, 2015
i see the devil in there
July 17th, 2015
Where there's fire there's love.
July 17th, 2015
@bigugly Yeah...we tired that. Sparks in unfortunate places provided hours of entertainment...
@northy Holy crap, you're right. Not sure what that says about our fire lighting skills...
@maggiemae This was just a quick shot - busy day ahead, but yes, flames can be hard to catch.
@amandal I love it! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!
July 17th, 2015
Wonderful color, cool image!
July 18th, 2015
Devilish!
July 18th, 2015
Aren't you grateful for that color now? Look how great it looks! I do see a devil in there too... Fantastic capture. :)
July 18th, 2015
Another colour shot. The flames look nice and warm. It is still a little chilly here.
July 18th, 2015
Oh yes, and you must fight your urges, and leave the fire inside the wood burner, not outside :)
July 18th, 2015
Congratulations. Looks cozy.
July 18th, 2015
@texastrails Sweet mother of god. SO. HOT.
@karlow75 It's too hot. I'm sending it back.
@kerosene Thanks - far too hot now. In shorts.
@cocobella That's me ;)
@photographycrazy Hot. So very hot.
July 18th, 2015
excellent shot
July 18th, 2015
boys and their toys... now go a chop the wood..
July 18th, 2015
@eyeamlisa Thank you kindly :)
@julzmaioro That's what I did last weekend...regretting that decision now. No wood = no fire and therefore a reasonable and civilised temperature!
July 18th, 2015
Oh lord how on earth are you controlling yourself
or......you're not haha
July 18th, 2015
@northy I noticed the devil too
July 18th, 2015
Great fire shot.
July 18th, 2015
oh how nice a new wood burner. toasty
July 18th, 2015
@brigette Too toasty quite frankly. I had to break out the shorts. Shudder.
@ukandie1 Thank you kindly :)
@annied I'm not...I keep looking at it and twitching uncontrollably
July 18th, 2015
Is it the devil or your soul in there?
July 18th, 2015
Cool, eh I mean hot!
July 18th, 2015
who needs a telly? super shot and toasty feet
July 18th, 2015
Bullshit! this is a few old pallets in the cave by the deserted beach.....
July 18th, 2015
Who gets the chores of bringing the wood in, cleaning out the ashes, cleaning the glass, dusting twice as frequently as usual? Everything has a price!
July 18th, 2015
HELL yeah, this is great !!:)
July 18th, 2015
love the colours
July 18th, 2015
Great Graeme.

July 19th, 2015
@kali66 Good lord no, where would the fun be in that?
July 19th, 2015
Lovely sight on a frosty morning, maybe I can warm my hands a bit.
July 19th, 2015
@golftragic It is a very nice thing to look at...far too hot now though!
July 19th, 2015
@graemestevens When I lived in the bush where we had plenty of fuel these were great. Not so good in the city, wood's too darned dear.
