Every year, despite my best attempts, New Plymouth hosts 'The Festival of the Lights', where Pukekura Park is festooned with all manner of lights and festivities for a 6 week period. There are concerts on most of the grassed areas and street performances around every corner. There's also people, and lots of them.
This is Poets Bridge, complete with a plethora of brightly shining disco balls.
In other news, I went outside with my camera last night. Gasp. Shock.

Wow, I had to pinch myself reading your name next to this explosion of color. It's like some bizarre romantic dreamland that no one normally should know about - hidden deep deed deep inside of black-and-white facade :)

Um... Graeme? Not to keep echoing everyone's sentiments but holy crap that is just shocking. It's a fabulous shot mind you but I thought I'd clicked on another person's photo!! All the colors... don't tell me you didn't enjoy it at least a tiny bit?!!
