I keep working on this play on light and shadows with my daughters (my primary subjects, but they are darker skinned, which makes it a challenge to pull up the highlights. Did you use a light source or natural light for this?
Stop pouting! Ha ha - I actually love this. The way the gritty-looking floor boards complement the gritty-looking Graeme is quite fetching. Also, that shine on the boot works so well to lead the eye up the leg and arm to the face. And, the darkness closing in is quite claustrophobic. Ok, I'll shut up now. :)
