I've also tagged this for the Technique Challenge, "High Key Portraits". In my humble opinion a high key portrait, without studio lighting (which I have not used here as I don't have any) is not as simple as over exposing the shot, for fear of "blowing out" the whites and losing too much detail.

I like this shot a lot but I have to say that, sadly, I find your recent photos much less menacing than I used to. Compared to what is happening in US politics these days your images seem quite sane and comforting.
