cargo

I don't know where that ship is going but my latest order from the Book Depository still has not arrived so I can only assume that they're setting sail to retrieve that.
hahahahaha
had a delivery from the book depository yesterday

Man, you really made me hunt for the ship. I have to stop viewing on the iPod. I really like the shape of the rock and or sand on the shore. Nice one!

Nice layers and textures.

Lol! You definitely have connections if it's going for your book

This is wonderful!! That teeny boat has a long way to go. I like the lines n the foreground sand.

Great in b&w!! Super POV!

Good luck with the book. But it's darned good shot whatever the postal delays are.

@golftragic Thanks again...they'd better hurry up, I'm on the verge of resorting to re-reading
@harbie Thank you very much :)
@taffy Thanks very much - always appreciated
@jgpittenger Oh I have connections...not that kind, but I do have them
@kwind Thank you very much :)
@mcsiegle Thanks very much - it is reasonably small I guess ;)
@annied You suck.

Now that's getting very serious. Have you tried a Kindle, Amazon has its faults but the book delivery beats anything else hands-down.

I hate waiting for books to arrive. I ordered books from Fishpond bake in February and they only arrived within the last two weeks. I hope your books arrive soon.

Love those different layers, and your side story too. Hope the books arrive soon. Most difficult situation to run out of reading stuff.
April 28th, 2017
@graemestevens how rude!
April 28th, 2017
a brilliant b&w treatment, as always.I particularly like the crispness of details in the various layers. Really a great one!

@domenicododaro Thank you very much :)
@annied That's how I roll ;)
@mona65 I hate not having anything to read...I may go insane
@nicolecampbell I hope so too...I'm losing the will
@golftragic I have tried a kindle but I still like paper...if that makes sense

I had to look twice to see the tiny cargo, love the different structures on the beach
April 28th, 2017
@cocobella Thank you very much - it is quite small ;)

Sam
It took me a while to see the ship you were referring to! I had to squint!

Fabulous b&w shot. Great clarity and contrasts. Fav.

@graemestevens right down the hill hahahaha
April 28th, 2017
they are very far away and will take time in this tide.
April 28th, 2017
Slow boat to China ... :)
April 28th, 2017
Great dramatic shot love the ship in the distance, hope your book arrives soon

The lines in the sand draw your eyes in the direction that the boat is headed to as opposed to drawing you to the boat. I like the concept. I have a number of books on kindle but I do still enjoy having the real thing in my mitts. My husband has taken to audible books but I am not a convert at this point - although they are great for long road trips.

@salza Thanks very much and yes, I still prefer the "old school" approach
@ezzzmaay Thank you and so do I!
@pdulis It better not be too slow!
@yaorenliu They certainly will...all good things take time...
@sangwann Thank you very much :)
@gigiflower You must be getting old ;)
April 28th, 2017
Still waiting for my Book Depository order too. Maybe the ship went the wrong way.
April 29th, 2017
@888rachel That sounds about right for the way my luck runs...
