I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Should I laugh or run? Take pity perhaps? The poor thing is trying so hard to look genteel.... such a good idea, so well executed. Quite possibly a fav!
@gigiflower Do you know, I couldn't possibly comment...one doesn't drink tea... @kiwinanna It is - and thank you :) @yrhenwr I laughed, I see no reason why you shouldn't do the same...and thank you, as always, for your generosity @mikegifford Thank you very much - there was enough steam inside that mask thanks @dibzgreasley Thank you kindly - and I wouldn't trust my tea either. @nicolecampbell Best you don't...there's a risk I may tell you... @kali66 A straw would be best, I'm making a hell of a mess of myself here. @salza Not to mention the rubber gloves...
@yaorenliu I do like to try and be upper class...I always fail miserably but at least I give it a shot @joannakate One does ones best ;) @30pics4jackiesdiamond I stole it out from under an unsuspecting pensioner just for this shot...and that's not far from the truth... @vignouse I'm fairly certain that my Grandmother would have a fair crack of that whip, not that I have any desire to speak ill of a 97 year old Scotswoman...but if you think I'm menacing...
Love the lighting and the processing here, not sure what you've done but the way the fabric is reflecting the light and highlighting the folds and wrinkles is wonderful. Hardly even noticed the tea cup or the lac of usual foot ware, I was so busy admiring the light.
@ukandie1 Thank you kindly :) @mona65 Thank you very much - I didn't think the Docs would suit this shot...shows what I know! @shepherdmanswife Who said I was taking it orally? @gardencat Most of the light is courtesy of the dinning room window and a lot of editing...as for the shoes, what was a I thinking??? @gamelee Thank you very much :) @wag864 Thank you very much - that's a seal skull (long story, nothing illegal or gruesome) @shylaine3304 Thank you so much :) @paul10 Thank you kindly - ones tries to be particular when in company ;) @hermann You never know your luck...if I can catch some fairies to bake then fairy cakes we shall have! @cutekitty Possibly...I don't have to take my tea orally though... @northy 5 at last count, along with matching plates and saucers...they were my grandmothers so I take no responsibility for the choice...
The rubber gloves are what makes me feel for you most of all. They just aren't good for anything. It takes a lot for me to turn down a cup of tea, but i'm thinking there are times when perhaps it is wisest. You take me back to a time in girl guides when a few of us visited the old lady in the house on the hill and she made cocoa. it was poured through a jug covered in cobwebs.
@habit Thank you kindly :) @888rachel It's been away for far too long! @golftragic It's good shit... @lynnz Thank you very much :) @helenhall "take me back to a time in girl guides"...well, I never thought I'd see that phrase on here... ;) @shepherdmanswife The view from down here is very entertaining....

Another darkly wonderful image--love it!
@newbank I wondered who would pick up on that...spooky isn't it. No big coat either...
