variations on a theme (2)

This was the original shot for this "series" - yesterdays image was taken from the far middle right of this shot and processed B&W. I managed to get 4 images in total from this shot, hence my dilemma in terms of which one to post.
I'm not sure where the farmer, who had been there moments before, has disappeared to but he was not seen again by me. I suspect, given the area of the country that this was taken, that a small amount of redneckery has occurred and a sheep is being sodomised just over the rise of the first hill.
Also, best on black of course.
You've found enough stuff to put in this one too......where was it all ???

Love this. What are you doing Mr S? What's with the beautiful shots and colourful shots that you are drip feeding us amongst your horror?
June 3rd, 2017
Indeed... positively glows on black!

Great one -- disappearing into the distance. Prefer not to think about what is in the distance.

@cutekitty Some messy bugger left it lying around the place so I tired to have a bit of a clean up...

Vortex, he fell into the damn vortex. This grabs me, where do those tracks lead....Fav!
June 3rd, 2017
@joysabin I believe that following those tracks would lead you directly to the aforementioned site of "sodomy a la redneck"...I strongly suggest backing away slowly

Absolutely beautiful landscape photo despite your prurient forebodings.
June 3rd, 2017
Very ethereal. The subtle colour works very well.
June 3rd, 2017
I see the reason for cropping in variation no. 1, but this no. 2 I like much more, apart for the PETA issue (but unfathomable are the ways of love...)
June 3rd, 2017
This is stunning! So beautiful! Not a word I ever thought I would use on one of your images! Lol! Are you feeling ok? Huge fav!

Terrific scene mate. Looks like an alien landscape. Easy fav :)
June 3rd, 2017
Suspicious that you are on scene but the sheep are huddled out of sight, I say.

This is good work; narrative aside, different than your usual theme; it is rather nice.

June 5th, 2017
@888rachel Thank you very much :)
June 5th, 2017
Redolent of shots I've seen of the Himalayas. More/fewer sheep there perhaps ;-)
June 7th, 2017
@s4sayer Maybe the farmers of the Himalayan regions more jealously guard their ovine lovers...
June 7th, 2017
Will we ever know? You're nearer than we are if further investigation is required...
June 7th, 2017
@s4sayer I don't think I'd do well in the Himalayas - I have found through experience that I'm better enjoyed at lower altitude.
