As usual, it is up to us to interpret ....... and I like that! Your photos seem to have a central theme and it involves masks and skulls - we don't see these in our usual lives. So..to me.. this is a weird guy in a gas mask protecting a weird baby probably with a gas mask on as well!
Interesting - given the subject matter - that you should decide to do this in high-key instead of dark and moody. The suffering is explicit and perhaps that comes through more clearly because it's not hidden in the dark. This is a profound image that many will choose to view at a more trivial level but it has much to teach those who have the eyes to see. Thank you for sharing this...
