You may have noticed that I am currently refusing to post any self portraits. This is because I have not indulged in a cigarette for over 2 months now and have recently become aware of my increased water displacement abilities when entering the bath. In short, I seem to be rotund, portly, circular...call it what you will.

Congratulations on the smoking front, parts of me also expanded when l gave up the fags. Trouble with fishing, dare l say, it can become so quiet and boring between catching the odd sprat you might take to the drink

High 5 for quitting !! I'm off for almost 10 yrs now from this stinkin'addiction, so happy I did..good luck, chew a carrot or celery stick if you're craving...I know you can kick the habit, buddy-good luck👋
The scenes you are posting are most enjoyable, and certainly preferably to any you might be considering from the bath tub! Well done, on those all important two months of quitting - you are well on the way. I bet the weight gain isn't as noticeable as you think.

Oh dear, I'm very familar with that particular phenomenon. And I've never smoked a cigarette. No justice in this world, and it's the only one we've got.

Can't you have one thing bad?! Just level it out with one thing good, wine for example. Oh sorry, good on you, to quit smoking!
I smoked 60 a day for 25 years and 0 a day for the last 25 years. It's attitude of mind that determines success - don't say "I've given up smoking", say "I don't smoke". I won't wish you luck because luck won't bring success... bloody minded perseverance will and you seem to have an ample supply of that!
