the view from here

Some shots, much to my disgust, have to be in colour.
This was the view from my humble abode this morning. I often wonder why we bother to pull the curtains.
Wow -- that's your view? What a beautiful place you live!
August 18th, 2017
Stop pulling those curtains... they are not meant to be shut. Idyllic. I simply MUST stop paying for college and divert those funds for traveling. ;)
August 18th, 2017
Fan-bloody-tastic. Why pull the curtains??
August 18th, 2017
Wow! That's some. Jew! How lucky... do you have neighbours?!
August 18th, 2017
Living in the protective aura of such a mountain is a gift, open the curtains more often if to only make the rest of us jealous.
August 18th, 2017
@joysabin It is a gift but it's far too pretty ;)
@jclaireyp It is and we do...but only two and both on the side of the house that has no view
@golftragic It's such an eyesore ;)
@rosiekerr Why educate yourself when you can travel far and wide... ;)
@taffy It is our view...horrific
August 18th, 2017
Your disgustingly colorful view is delightful to my eyes. Nice shot. Don't take that as an insult.
August 18th, 2017
@graemestevens it seems I should have checked what my phone had done with my typing before posting!! I'm sure you knew it should have said view!!
August 18th, 2017
@graemestevens A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
August 18th, 2017
I love your view.
August 18th, 2017
Pity to have to look out at this view! Perhaps you should just leave the curtains pulled, especially if it forces you to have colour in your images!
August 18th, 2017
@dide Every time I open the curtains I'm outraged ;)
@888rachel Bah humbug ;)
@jclaireyp I gathered as much ;))
@pandorasecho Good lord, outrageous ;)
August 18th, 2017
Beautiful light. And color? Sometimes it happens ...
August 18th, 2017
@haskar It can't be helped...I think my camera may be broken...

August 18th, 2017
Good grief a landscape.... poor thing fancy having to wake up to that every day ...
August 18th, 2017
I imagine (much as I try not to) the view in to the Stevens abode may be as interesting as the view out.
August 18th, 2017
@jack4john Thousands have tried to catch a brief glimpse of my interior and failed miserably.
@julzmaioro It's horrifying
@hermann How dare you ;)

August 18th, 2017

August 18th, 2017

@dkbarnett I'd be lying if I said I didn't ;)
@tanithrose Thank you very much :)
August 19th, 2017
I don't know how you can stand looking at that pink mountain top. I suspect that your curtains are almost permanently closed unless it is a very grey and overcast day. :)
August 19th, 2017
Breathtaking!!!!
August 19th, 2017
@joemuli It's certainly vomit-worthy ;)
@swillinbillyflynn I like to spend a lot of time blindfolded, but that's another story...
August 19th, 2017
