ascension (final) by graemestevens

ascension (final)

I've got a lot of rage
And I'm struggling with ways to control it
When I wake in the morning
I've forgotten what it is to cope
I scratch at my eyes
And it renders me vision less
Even in the dark
What I want isn't what I need

You'll be relieved to know that this is the slightly underwhelming "grand finale" to my current "series" of beach shots. Having said that, this is my favourite one of the three, so there.
The reason for the song is that it was playing when I took the three shots.
Best on black I suspect.
Nice trio, but I have to say I prefer the straight-horizon version. :-)

interesting the way you have the sea black while not appearing to be a B&W photo.

Great tension

Rather sinister looking, but great light.

Fabulous image, love the moving waves and sun shining brightly through the clouds. It maybe in b&w, but I still 'feel' the colour in this shot. :)

All with their own merits - it is either this or the first one for me. Particularly like the approaching wave and the way it is lit on this one.

Yup on black is best as it simply glows but, I may need less wine to make sure I don't tip over.
