I used to use Lightroom but I find Affinity to be so much more intuitive and much more responsive to adjusting tonal compression and contrast. @graemestevens thank you so much! I have ordered a new mac and it should arrive this week (custom build) - I'm going to look into Affinity to install. My software on this mac is a little old too and it hasn't agreed to play with RAW from my new camera, so I'm just so looking forward to working in with the RAW image. May I ask, are you bringing the RAW image into Affinity photo?
@koalagardens Apparently I am - I use an Olympus OMD-M10 MkII and it's set to RAW...I like Affinity as it seems a bit more intuitive (to me) than LR and I can get a lot more out of the shadows, highlights and clarity. And it was a one off $75NZD and updates like any other app. @haskar Thank you very much :)
