I sat and waited for some time for this shot to happen. This particular beach has a sharp and sudden drop off and, as a result, can be relied upon for rather fab waves, but it's the colour of the water that I approve of most.
Probably best on black, as per.

your patience rewarded - and in my humble opinion - that is exactly the colour a turning wave should be. You have such heavy skies where you are - but still the sun shines through. Much to see and admire in your breaking morning.
