What would you be if the waves set you free
And the wind in your hair brought you sailing to me
Tied up on the shore would you weary no more?
When will it be, when will it be
What would I be if a hurricane came
Would I be clever, would I be shamed
Would I lie helpless, cast up on the flames
What will I be, what will I be
I will be here forever
Till the river runs into the sea
I will always be silent
And hold my head up
Till we will be sailors no more
(Big Country, Sailor)
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Whoa! I am not sure which do i like the most: the color palette, the composition, the light, the perspective, the idea, the details. I think it's all of these, as a whole in this sensational photograph.
I love this image; the rocks, the driftwood (that has a story we'll never hear), the power of the sea, the vastness of the moody sky. What a pic! And great poetry to go with it.
@linnypinny Thank you very much :) @lyndemc Thanks very much - I love a good piece of driftwood in the right place. @moonbi Thank you very much :) @juliedduncan Thank ya ma'am...one of my favourite songs to be honest :) @gamelee Thank you very much :) @spanner Aw shuck, you say the sweetest things...and thanks :) @annied That's probably because it's right there, where it belongs...no trickery here (for a change) :) @pistache Thank you very much :) @jamibann Thanks very much - one of my favourite songs :) @aikiuser Thank you very much :) @sherimiya It does...but if it was I would have taken it home...just a well worn piece of driftwood (which was still tempting) @harbie Thanks very much :) @monikozi Thank you so much - it had been a while since I'd been to the beach, but eventually I'll hear the call and up there :) @salza Thanks veyr much - it's definitely very "alert" ;)
@joysabin Thanks very much :) @vignouse There is that - it reminded me of a keel, but I see the sea creature as well... @bkbinthecity Thanks very much :)
