Oh yes, this is spectacular. You've just caught the perfect expression, and that's not easy. Plus the lighting coming in from behind is beautiful. Can I borrow her (him?) for awhile for photo ops? :)
@karenann Of course you may borrow her but did you read her "street name" in the caption?! She isn't very friendly. ;~} Thanks, for your comments, KarenAnn.
@karenann That isn't her real name. We adopted her from a lady that was terminally ill and when we first brought her home to our other dogs she was so crabby all the time we started calling her that!
@annehans LOL! I am so sorry. When I started this project i promised myself not to take the fall back shot........flowers and pet shots. They are what I would shoot when I can't find anything else and I want to push myself more than that. There is nothing wrong with that at all but it feels lazy for me. Thanks for your kind words and I apologize if I offended you.;~}
No, I'm just teasing you...I love to shoot my beasts, because sometimes they are tooo stinkin cute....and I like to get them in action shots when I can.
@jennwearing Thanks, Jennifer. You are in good company...........there are lots of people on here like that and there is nothing wrong with it but I want my project to be more than that.
To be perfectly honest I'm not the hugest fan of pet pics BUT this one is a great capture....love the focus, the lighting is wonderful and as for that look in her eyes......brilliant!
I just looked at this again and knowing what she looks like on a day by day basis, this shot is really great. You have done an excellent job in capturing her "eyes of personality" and the surrounding light just adds to the push of her features. A definite fav for photographic artsmanship.
