You Want a Piece of This?!

I watched this little guy cavorting all around the yard and when he stood up to confront the world I decided it was time to make him immortal!
Rocky!!! Nice capture of the little guy. Love the light thru his tail

@karenann Wow that is such a deep thought for such a frivolous photo,KarenAnn! Glad you like the tail! Thanks!

Funny title, Katy! To me, he looks ike he's being a little coy!
April 13th, 2012
Great shot! Love his pose... and the light through his tail is very cool because I never realized before how skinny their tails really are! :)
April 13th, 2012
@debsphotos You are probably right but I couldn't think through my uninspired fog! Thanks so much Debbie!
April 13th, 2012

How fun to have squirrels in your yard, Katy. I love this photo so much as you waited for that moment. Then snap and there it was your photo for the day. I love the way the sun shines through his tail and the way the sunlight hits him. What a great capture. I do not have to go to the park for photos, just come to your house. Lol
April 13th, 2012
Ah yes! He definitely looks miffed at the camera but being a proper animal he poses for you!
April 13th, 2012
@maggotx Thanks, Mag. I know lots of people think of them as pests and I hate when they dig up my yard but they are so much fun to watch!
April 13th, 2012
@myhrhelper You are so right! Thanks Kathy!
April 13th, 2012
@madamelucy I appteciate it Terri! Thanks!
April 13th, 2012
@nyusha Thanks, Anna! What little harm they do is overshadowed by the entertainment they provide!
April 13th, 2012
@darsphotos This is one of those days where I actually took several and then eliminated the least interesting ones. I hated the planting pot in this shot that my dogs had been playing with and left out there but the pose was so cute I had to use it anyway! My house is probably a bit farther than the park for you but you are more than welcome to come take photos anytime! ;~}
April 13th, 2012
@potsbypam He did a good job, didn't he?!
April 13th, 2012
Looks so lovable
April 13th, 2012
@peterdegraaff Is that sarcasm? thanks Peter!
April 13th, 2012

April 13th, 2012
Lovely light and perfect pose!! Great capture Katy.
April 13th, 2012
Nice shot taken at the right time. I like to get my hands on them when they dig up all my tulip bulbs..have only two tulips left in my garden..I guess it's either them or tulips. the tulips lost.
April 13th, 2012
@ruthmouch Thanks so much, Ruth! I got lucky with the pose! ;~}
April 13th, 2012
@bruni I know what you mean. We have nut trees in the yard so maybe that is why they don't bother my flowers so ,much!
April 13th, 2012
Haha. Love it. My husband is watching Rocky while inreview pictures so really reminds me of Rocky.
April 14th, 2012
@debbim Someone else said the same thing! Funny!
April 14th, 2012
He looks like a little rapscallion! And did he turn over that container and go through it? He's a rough neck!
April 15th, 2012
@espyetta He was a busy little guy but no he did not turn over the pot. That is something the dog started playing with and left out there.
April 15th, 2012
That little brush tail is so cute...and I can just imagine some little squirrel-sized boxing gloves on him :-) We just get spiders, snakes, crocs and sharks in Australia - nothing lovely and furry like this :-)
April 15th, 2012
@jennwearing LOL! Quite an imagination you have! These can be a pain sometimes too but not like crocs and sharks!
April 15th, 2012
Jen
Great capture.. Very cute face! If a bit cheeky!
April 15th, 2012
@fungirlslim LOL! Thanks Jennifer! Definitely a cheeky fellow!
