This is officially the last day of my 365 project because of the extra day in February this year.
These are the people who have commented, encouraged, followed and inspired me throughout the year. They have made my experience on 365 an amazing journey and I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
My sister Marilyn led the way and because of her I have learned so much! Without her I would have never met so many wonderful people since she encouraged me to participate in this project.
For those of you who only recently started following me I apologize for not following you back. Keep posting and learning.
To Ross I want to extend my deepest thanks for your vision and all your hard work to keep this site going and growing. Your efforts are helping to foster world wide unity whether you know it or not.
To have TWO pictures on the PP the last day of my project was a gift from everyone that touched me to the core!
Thanks to all of you for everything you have given me this year.
Oh wow... what a cool idea for a final shot! Congratulations Katy, I hope you have enjoyed the ride as much as I. I am humbled to be included amongst some awesomesauce photographers. Have to fave this one!
What a FABULOUS idea for your final day! The best final I have seen... because it is so true that it is the fantastic people on this site who comment follow, encourage and inspire us that help us to grow in our photography! And I am especially honored to be front and center... ❤ A fav for sure! :)

@grammyn - I like it when someone here just tweaks a photo to make it unique, and while many have finished on collages before, I can't recall anyone using profile pics of others. It is a selfless gesture and one that I am honoured to be part of. Thanks.

I copied all the profile pics to my computer and put them all into an album. I created a collage in Picasa with all the photos and then added the names. From there it was just upload and post.
@jennwearing You are so kind Jennifer and I have really enjoyed getting to know you! Keep up your journey on 365 because it has so much to offer and thank you for the double FAV!
@tracywilliams Of course you are on there! You have an incredible talent and will surely be famous some day. I will be proud to say I knew you when! ;~}

@grammyn I just love this collage and thank you for explaining how you did it. Did you add the names from Picasa? I sure hope you will continue on if not daily, on occasion. Will miss you so much if you leave for good. You have taught me so much and have been such a great support for me and my photos. Thank you for that.
@darsphotos You are so welcome Darlene! I used Picasa for all of it. At this time I will continue to comment on my sister and one or two other members but have no plans to post.
@grammyn Will miss you so much but know you are super busy with your life and family. I have been taking breaks and will as vacations happen this Summer. It is so hard and so time consuming to keep up. You have done it so well and you have been a pleasure to know and learn from. Take care, Katy. Now off to clean house and do other things that slip by when on here.
@myhrhelper I am so glad you like it,Kathy! Thank you so much for all your kind words. I don't belong to Facebook so that avenue is out for me but I appreciate the invitation. I will continue to follow my sister and one or two others but will no longer be posting.
@grammyn I hear your comment loud and clear, Katy. I get on here and hours go by. I stay away and fall behind and feel bad about it. I move slowly and have many things to do at home that actually take priority along with friends and family. Enjoy your time, enjoy your life. I will miss you and hearing about your granddaughter and her music and seeing your photos but saw what we all go through the blank dull not a clue as to what to photograph feeling. Life is what it is and in life we have moments where we meet someone who changes or enhances our life and you are one of those people for me. Thank you for letting me be a part of your life and teach me while you were here, allowing me to learn about this site for one of a number of things. Means more than you will ever know.

WOW.............. I did a bit of an @adobewaters here.....had to stop and think............and I thought all those fancy 365 numbery things were good.....This collage is an absolutely fabulous idea, and of course beautifully done........have to thank you for your wit and wisdom as well as the excellent photographs, for the thoughtful and creative comments, for your encouragement and inspiration.

Katy I'm honored to be one of your followers mentioned in your fantastic idea of a collage as your good bye picture. It made me sad that you decided to leave 365 and it was an unexpected suprise at the same time but I totally understand the commitment and time one spends on here on a daily basic. I don't know if I could have done it for more than two years if I were still employed and had to look after my children, keeping house and still find time for more family and friends. I imagine your decision wasn't not an easy one but we'll respect it and I like to wish you all the best for the future. thank you for having been part of my life...oh yes one more fav.
Oh Katy ... I didn't see this coming. How beautiful this is and I am so honored and happy to be one of your supporters and friends. How can anyone not love your spirit and your kindness. Thank YOU so much for all that you've done for me. You have kept me going. I am so SAD that you are leaving. Maybe you'll be back?!! I know how you feel ... this is so hard, so consuming and takes one away from having a "normal" life. I have been blessed to have you as a friend ... you've seen me through some hard days. Katy....you ARE coming back to post pics some, aren't you? At least do what I am doing...I will post when I can.... try to be less obsessed with it and keeping it all "together" and just relax and have more fun with it...'blank spots" be damned.

For now I am not planning on posting and will finish up with a little viewing and commenting but it has really taken tons of pressure out of my life by not worrying about the daily obligation. Not saying I won't be back but it isn't in my plans for now.
@grammyn Oh darn. I know what you mean though. I have wondered how it will work just posting some days ..I fear I will lose touch with everyone in the end...because it was the daily "in the trenches together" that made us close and kept us up on each other's lives. So I am not sure what will happen with me...we will just see I guess....shoot! I will miss you guys that I have gotten to know so well!

Katy, I can certainly second what everyone said - I think I was an off-the-books-follower as I would often land on your pictures or comments from other places. . . I always felt that there were great life lessons in the things you had to say. Thanks for your wisdom - there was something about your profile picture that always gave me the feeling that you would be a lovely person to know! You'll be missed for sure. . .

@maggotx Apparently FB picks up EVERYONE in your e-mail list and you were there because of the time you edited a picture for me and emailed it to me! I really don't want to be on FB but evidently my children don't know how to use a phone and this is the only way I can find out what is happening in their lives!

I have stopped posting but will continue to look in from time to time and comment because I have so many lovely friends from this experience and I don't want to lose touch. LOL ... I doubt if anyone's much impressed with my skills, Katy. But I won't stop trying. With the kids at the skateboard park, I felt a little out of place and very unwelcome. No one that I know has gotten a shot of these kids ... they will stop skating around cameras. Pierced tongues, eyebrows and ears, tattoos ... rough around the edges. But really great kids. One of them "cussed" when he fell and immediately apologized to me. Go figure!
Katy..I know i had become a follower a little late in your project but i am already missing seeing your pic's and your comments on mine!! I hope you enjoy a little time off and maybe come back?? Would love that!! Take care ...and keep on snapping:0)..xxoo

I understand about the time commitment it takes to be an active 365er...It has certainly taken up so much of my time and I look forward to being done but then I will surely miss folks like you! Thanks a bunch, Vee! It is so nice to hear from you. I tried to look in on everyone for a while but slowly got involved in other activities and my involvement diminished. I have been considering coming back but the amount to time it takes to comment on all my friends influences me to wait a little while longer. I am still taking pictures but not in the driven way I did when I was active. Thanks so much for the kind word and keep shooting, girl!
