The Gift by grammyn

The Gift

I started out by taking a view of a different side of my Sunday shack when I noticed the orange cat lying in the weeds at the base of the building. I started snapping away trying to compose the perfect shot of cat and building without scaring the cat away. Suddenly I noticed the black cat poking his head out of this hole. By the time I had aimed, zoomed in and focused he had pulled his head back inside. Not sure if it was his eyes I was seeing in the viewfinder or not I took the shot anyway.
oh, this is spectacular! you see all the details and bam! right there, there's the pair of eyes in the dark hole. i love it!

This is an awesome shot! I really love how you can just make out the kitty and he's framed so well in the tree. Really great!
February 13th, 2015
@tara11 I am so glad you like it Tara! This is actually the side of a building not a tree but it is amazing how much it does look like a tree! Thank you so much!
February 13th, 2015
@grammyn Ha - so it is! I read your description, but had already pre-determined it was a tree for some reason, so that just went over my head. Still love the shot!
