I started out by taking a view of a different side of my Sunday shack when I noticed the orange cat lying in the weeds at the base of the building. I started snapping away trying to compose the perfect shot of cat and building without scaring the cat away. Suddenly I noticed the black cat poking his head out of this hole. By the time I had aimed, zoomed in and focused he had pulled his head back inside. Not sure if it was his eyes I was seeing in the viewfinder or not I took the shot anyway.
I must agree with @lesip about your talent. Yes, sometimes we are lucky to get a well-timed shot, but with your persistence and talent and creativity you are able to capture and share with us wonderful shots time after time after time. Thank you for this...
@eudora@lesip@bill_fe@summerfield@espyetta Thanks you so much for you supportive comments and FAVs. I just discovered that you put me on the PP. i didnt see it then but it made me happy to know it was there!
@lesip I AM doing a B&W month which I am sure you have already figured out by now! BTW your comment was really very nice about my talent! That means a lot to me coming from you!
@tara11 I am so glad you like it Tara! This is actually the side of a building not a tree but it is amazing how much it does look like a tree! Thank you so much!
@grammyn Ha - so it is! I read your description, but had already pre-determined it was a tree for some reason, so that just went over my head. Still love the shot!
