Zawadi, the infant, because there are three Zawadis at Neema house and I have now posted all three of them even though it was not my goal or intent, has so much personality that one can't help but adore her. She is six months old and loves to support herself on her feet. She "talks" and smiles constantly and is a treasure to care for.
Her ears don't match probably because of the angle I was taking the picture. This orphanage is set up to help babies live. When their home conditions might prevent that they live in the orphanage until they are strong enough to survive their home conditions. Also sometimes Family members are unable to take care of a baby but can take care of an older child. Neema House is set up to fill in that gap. @summerfield
Wow. Your words have such strength...imagine not being strong enough to survive your own home. So many issues in Africa. I am thankful that you went and shared your love and that you took these wonderful pics to share with the rest of the world via 365. Great job lady!
@ruthmouch I imagine you see much similar situations with your refugees in Lebanon! You are too kind to give me so much credit when I know you do the same kind of things all the time in your country!
