Serendipity

On my way home from trying to catch an industrial shot for the weekly theme I crossed over the creek and noticed the water was way down. As I glanced over I saw these two birds taking advantage of the low water level. I quickly parked the car and walked back hoping to be able to get a shot or two of them. They were still there when I got to the middle of the bridge.

Good night dad ❤️
Awesome capture and great industrial shot!

Oh, a bit like cross between a Turner painting and a Constable. Love the serenity of this shot and the neglected buildings. Fav!

Great industrial shot! The birds add to the feeling of abandonment of the site. Love those old buildings. . . .

Looks like egrets to me- and such a great contrast between the white of their feathers and the run-down shape of the bricks and roof.

@olivetreeann This was over 200 yards away and the birds are actually what l intended to shoot in the first place but then I liked the look of the buildings behind too so I kept them.

Very interesting shot. So much to look at. I really like the look of that building in the background - I'm sure you'd be able to get lots of good shots there!

@kwiksilver Possible but this was when they drained the creek to do some work on the dam so access is not good from this side.
