Sunrise On Snow Capped "Mountain Range"

Not seeing the snow capped mountains of Washington state is one of the things I miss the most about living in Alabama. Every now and then I will see a bank of clouds on the horizon and I will squint my eyes just a little and pretend it is a mountain range. This "range" was catching the morning sun today and reflecting its warm color.
I'm loving the "range" you captured here. I actually that it was one at first! Beautiful capture Katy!

Sometimes the big white fluffy ones behind our little mountains make me think of the Alps. This is very pretty.

That's what I love about my drives to work is the sunrise. Even though it's blocked by trees, houses, businesses, signs, etc. I'm still amazed at the colors that it produces in the sky!! So pretty!!

Lovely shot. I like the pink clouds peaking out and the swirl of birds in the corner.

We were thinking the same thing today. Honest, I posted mine before I saw yours.

I do that too - find all sorts of strange mountains across the sea, too when there isn't any! This one is catching the sun beautifully!

@grammyn I've only seen them in pictures- not even from above. However I did see some of their "foothills" in Greece and they were pretty tall!
