The intense blue of these mountains was much more beautiful than this. As I was driving on the interstate I marveled at how gorgeous they were. I should have stop then and taken the picture. By the time I stopped at our motel the view and light wasn't nearly as good.

Hee hee so annoying when that happens, I do it frequently, mostly going back never happens with me. Lovely Montana mountain...advantage of being so late in commenting is all the extra info!!! xx
@ruthmouch so good to know I am in good company for missing the shot. it is hard to imagine you do that though because all of yours are so terrific. We do have some beautiful places in our country too but they are so far away from each other!
