At the End of the Course

I "ran" a 3.7 mile/6 kilometer race today... if you define running very loosely. I don't think I have ever run a race before and this was an obstacle course to boot. 24 obstacles from swimming to scaling various walls to carrying different heavy objects to mention just a few. I wasn't able to do all the obstacles and had help with a good many of them from my daughter and some friends that ran with me. Mind you I came in dead last .....but as my daughter ran back and crossed the finish line with me we both had tears of joy for the accomplishment. Not bad for a 69 year old lady.

Very well done - and you didn't injure yourself which is easily done! If I run, my boobs bounce around so much they just about knock me out! Thats my excuse for not running!
