Rescued

In the skimmer of our pool this morning I found this salamander. I wasn't sure at first if it was a snake or not because of all the leaves so I cautiously pulled them out as he hid in them. I relocated him to another little pond in the yard and he seemed happy to find a new home..
Aw, sweet thing!

Great shot! Very brave of you. I had encountered one also in my garage but I refused to relocate him. Instead I kept checking until he had left the area.

You are so much braver than me. If it looked like a snake that would have been the end of the story.
