Another evening with no concrete idea for a photo.
As I sit at my computer desk and frantically look for SOMETHING to shoot this chaotic still life presents itself.
Our flag which really represents the years of service my husband spent in the miltary ,a postcard in a frame from my trip to Italy with my oldest daughter, a picture from my daughter-in-law of her daughter and me sewing a skirt together, the strap of a "headlight" my youngest daughter gave me so I could see detail work better when I am sewing, a book of letters from my middle daughter that she wrote to me for Mother's Day this year, a bracelet from my many trips with my sisters as we vacationed all over the country together, my Bible and my address book.
Pretty much my whole life in one little corner of my computer desk. There is nothing neat about it and even that is a commentary on my life. Thanks for sharing it with me tonight
This is what some call a portrait without a person. I have no idea what I'd put in mine, but what I like about yours is all the special things that represent special people in your life.
