Legless Lizard?

I saw this little guy tucked neatly between the slats of the shutters as I left for school today so I turned around and quickly snapped a photo. Tell me what you think it is.

@summerfield @ludwigsdiana I thought i was a little snake but upon closer examination I discovered a poor dead gecko ;~{ Apparently it got caught in the slats.

School is doing OK except for all the time it take Vikki. Thanks fo asking

I too, thought its a snake but as above - it is no longer in the land of living! Are you going to have a burial service?

I can see it's a skeleton -- and reading your comment above I now know what kind of critter it is/was.

@wyomingsis I try to keep the kudzu form getting that close to the house but still a good guess!
@mcsiegle I was not certain if it was dead or alive and after decidiing dead THEN i checked more closely
