Sorry for putzing around until the end of the day with nothing better to offer than this! I need to use up all this ribbon and thread so my children won't have to dispose of it someday! I also need to stop buying more!
and here i was planning to send you more. i'm kidding, of course. 'tis a good thing i have somewhere to "unload" my craft materials. and yes, we should stop buying more!

Oh my! Well the grosgrain ribbon that is narrow, no more than 1” wide, could be used for that elegant ribbon weaving I see on clothes and table linens! That’s about all the help I can offer though. Maybe you will take up seeing in earnest and you can use those lovely threads. Machine quilting comes to mind. 😊

Wow- a quick and easy solution is to find a organization that could use them for arts and crafts- a blessing to them and it frees up space for you to (should I say it???) buy more.

@grammyn Actually got the idea from my long-time friend who lives in St. Louis, Mo. She is a crafter and had so much wool, beads, papers and other assorted stuff from projects going all the way back to our college days that she didn't want to hold on to anymore- especially since she was going to be moving and didn't want to pack it all! She found a program for handicapped adults that was looking for donations and brought it all to them.

@olivetreeann That is indeed a very good idea

You are just like my mum. We often say to her "She who has the most material when she dies wins" and my mum has a lot. She has been sewing for well over 60 years.
