5+2 is hosting a challenge "Under Your Nose" @summerfield edified me yesterday about the name for the vertical channel between the nose and lips. It is the philtrum, hence, the title for my photo today in which you see what is under the nose. Please just ignore all the wrinkles you see.
@olivetreeann Aww that is so nice of you Ann! @jayberg Sad to say mine might be a little bit too! ;~} @randystreat LOL Glad there wasn't and yes it would have!
I immediately thought “Smile! September!” “Philtrum” just doesn’t have that lyrical sound when you say it. 😊 Great photo of your smile, oh wait, your philtrum. 😊
@tunia I sure am glad they don't show up very well in this one! @overalvandaan They are there but not too easily seen which I am grateful for! @louannwarren LOL! I agree it doesn't Thanks bunches :ou Ann @sdutoit thank you Sylvia @dutchothotmailcom That is really nice of of you Esther Thank you @ludwigsdiana What a nice thing to say Diana! Thanks
now, this, i know i left a comment. but then i know what my problem was, i'd leave the page before thinking i'd clicked on the "post comment" thingie. so pardon the old person.
with almost everyone wearing a mask, how i know someone is smiling is through their eyes. a genuine smile reaches the eyes always.
@summerfield no worries! I am guilty of doing the same thing across all my electronica platforms! When I check to see why someone hasn’t texted me back I notice it’s because I didn’t hit send to start with!
I have noticed the same thing about masks and the lack of ease In detecting smiles. You are right though, it is easy to see in the eyes.
I also noticed that about the philtrum in this photo. I was wondering why it didn’t show up very well and you have explained it nicely.
