This is the second year our small town has a parade of pumpkins. It features " carved and decorated pumpkins from our community along with festive storefronts and seasonal displays that will light up and transform Historic Downtown. This family-friendly event is free and open for anyone to participate. Grab a pumpkin, get in the spirit, and share your creativity at the Parade of Pumpkins!" My husband brought me to take some pictures of the event which started Friday and will go until next Sunday
That sounds like so much fun- and like an event that would end up in a Hallmark movie! That's quite a structure-not sure what to call it! A pumpkin house? They really got into the spirit of the event!
Very fun - we have something similar in downtown Franklin - I may try to go early one day this week, before the stores open (I can't do anything "people-y")
Interesting centerpiece for the festival. I really like the old buildings in the background to the right. They would make good subjects too if you haven't already used them in the past.
@shutterbug49 thanks Debbie I am glad you noticed them
@eudora There were lots of people so I think you are right

@olivetreeann I hadn't thought if it that way but you are right! I think the structure was a bit of a haystack but can't be certain
@linnypinny going early seems like a great solution
@summerfield LOL! I think you are right!
