I had hoped to catch a shot of one of the blue jays that have started looking for winter handouts in our yard but by the time I got the camera they were, of course, gone! I left the camera there and later saw a squirrel running across the wall so decided that might make a good photo. I lost him for a moment and then saw, not only was he even closer to the house but he was carrying a nut! He posed long enough for me to get a shot or two before he scurried away to find a place to bury it.
