good catch of the rain splashes. aces! back in the old country, i loved showering in the rain. and i loved walking in the rain, too. here, not much, for some reasons, the rain drops feel like needles and even in the heat of summer, the rain is just plain cold!
Nice half and half. I like thunderstorms, too, except when our street floods. We had the rain and thunderstorms Saturday night into Sunday, and then rainbows!
Perfect half n half. Looks like the raindrops are dancing. Could you please send us some rain here in California. We are experiencing another drought season. Not good when it really starts to heat up and get windy.
Love how you got the splashes in there. Christopher's play off game in Georgia was delayed for an hour due to lightning and thunder but they did eventually finish it- with a WIN!
@dutchothotmailcom What a wonderful thing to say Esther How very nice of you @summerfield Thank you . I imagine there is a big difference in the type of rain you get now from the old country. I would definitely think it muche warmer when you were a child . We feel things differently as we age too! @shutterbug49 Thank you Debbie. I did not use a very long exposure for this shot @eudora Thanks Diane. Unfortunately this was a precurso of things to come. No flooding but saturated ground let the trees fall over the next day @Dawn I am so glad you like it Dawn @ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. It got even worse the next day. Rain, I like, the tornado not so much @monikozi so generous of you Monika thanks @30pics4jackiesdiamond so very nice of you ♥ @koalagardens I really appreciate that Katrina @nicolecampbell Sorry to hear it! I can't imagine enjoying walking in the rain! @randystreat The rain was great but not the storms the next day! @gijsje Thank you so much Bep. I am glad you like it! @madamelucy I wish I could have sent you some. A little evry now and then might prevent the drought and mudslides when you get so much all at once @serendypyty I hadn't noticed that Cazzi thank you so much! @bkbinthecity I really appreciate that Brian thanks @olivetreeann Thanks Annn and congratulations to Christopher. I am glad it wasn't cancelled @mcsiegle SOunds like so much fun Mary. AS you know by now it got much worse the next day!
