My friend came to visit me today and as we sat distanced on the porch she remarked how she wanted to climb my tree. I asked her what was stopping her so she proceeded to climb it! I ran for my camera because I had no photo for the day yet. She got about half way up the 80 foot tree when I begged her to come back down. Not a great shot but a great memory. I love this 48 year old girl!
What a wonderful shot of an energetic girl!
Katy - I always thought you lived in a snowy area but obviously not! There are still leaves in that tree although the trees further down on the other side of the road seem bare.
I hope you are feeling better?
Hahaaaa!!!!!!!! Awesome girls! A true friend is not the one that reaches out to you when you fall down. It is the one that laughs and then reaches out to help. Just like you: first take a shot, and than we'll see...
@farmreporter iām not sure why you would think that Wendy I live in Alabama. This is a magnolia tree which is an evergreen tree and yes the rest of the trees are bare. I am feeling so much better thank you for asking. @wyomingsis She probably is a bit fetched itās Amy.thanksā£ļø @milaniet iām glad you like it, Milanie. @summerfield she definitely did and was so excited about it @madamelucy I donāt think I would climbed trees when I was that age! Thanks @shutterbug49 I liked those matching colors too! She got about halfway up the tree, so 40 feet in the air? @ludwigsdiana thank you Diana. I think she probably got about 40 feet in the air with it. @kjarn she was definitely heading in that direction but I worried that she would fall so I begged her to stop. @marilyn it was Amy! I am not quite that adventuresome anymore. The fear of a long recovery slows me down. @wakelys my point exactly! Well maybe not so much my point as her point. @monikozi thatās exactly how it is with the two of us I think. @30pics4jackiesdiamond I thought so too artistically not so great but I thought so too. @randystreat She sure is! Itās my work out instructor.
This is so much fun! I would love to be able to climb a tree, or jump rope, or roller skate...but I'll have to be content with memories and watching those younger than me!
