This morning was foggy and there was a delightful ring around the almost full moon that was pretty. By the time I got home from my exercise class it had sunk low enough in the sky that I had to try and get it through the trees. My minimal skills and the obscured view doesn't do justice to the real thing in this photo.
This is really neat viewed on black. It almost looks like the tree is holding the moon and the light is great. I am also impressed that you go to exercise class so early!
The Powershots sometimes want to focus on the tree branches but you've managed to conquer that. There's a hint of the ring but even though it's not showing the way you wanted it still looks good. Your gym has a class at 5 AM??!! You are dedicated!

yes 5AM but there are not any other activities at that time of day so I have no excuse to miss the classes and it is not a gym but a workout studio
