I had two Christmas presents to get tonight and one was in a place I had never been to before. As I was traveling to the store I saw a lot of amazing ground fog. I had the camera and wanted to stop but didn't want to miss the store so I kept on my mission. I found the store easier that I expected to so on the way home I had time to stop and get the shots I wanted before it got too dark. This was the best of several.
@debsphotos Oh Debbie, you are such a good friend. You sound as excited as I was when I first saw it. It almost killed me to drive by it the first time. God was good and gave me a second chance to capture it.Thank you so much! ;.}
@grammyn I think one of the big differences between you and me on the sooc thing is that you shot for so many years on film that you had to frame your shots perfectly. I, however, didn't really start shooting until I had digital cams and they were so easy to crop that I have never really cared. I just go for the overall thing I want and crop out until I get what I want. Also, since I shoot so much with my phone I can't get "just" what I want in a shot because I have no zoom, so I have to rely on cropping to do my zooming. One of my goals for year two is to learn to use Marvin's DSLR... I plan to carry it with me most places... and I am going to get myself a cute camera bag so I don't have to lug his "Hello, I am a camera bag" bag with me! Because style is almost as important as a good camera! :)
