How interesting! I've never heard of society garlic (but then I'm not much of a gardener!). This is so pretty. And does look like cloves of garlic before opening.

They say it was called back because the got several hours to south Africa thought it was a more pleasant spice to use to season food especially when going out to social events. Wonderful capture.
