Poser

As I was getting out of my car I saw this lady getting into hers. I decided to be brave and ask if I could take her picture. She very generously agreed to pose for me! It was very bright and difficult for me to see well in my viewfinder but I am pleased with this as an sooc and people shot for the monthly challenges. Thank you kind lady!
yay for you getting a positive response!

Good for you! She gave you a nice pose too. I know you are trying to do these sooc, but you have a great backdrop here with that cement wall in the background. So you could actually crop it closer and it would look really good.

@summerfield I am happy it went well even if the picture could have been a little closer!
@deb60 Wasn't she gracious?
@vstap The shirt was what prompted me to ask! She was so nice to stop what she was doing for me!
@joemuli You are too kind joey! thanks!
@barbtatum Thanks! I am in small doses!
@kwiksilver Thank you Gillian! I think she is angelic because she posed so nicely for me!

@olivetreeann Thanks, Ann! Are you saying it doesn't look good now?! ;~} Actually you are absolutely right! After I posted I realized should have stepped in closer for the shot. I wanted to be sure and get all the wings in and I was uncomfortable asking her to wait while l adjust. It was very bright out and I have some problems with my eyes anyway and couldn't see really well in the viewfinder or on the screen as I reviewed the shot! All that being said I am going to keep this as is for now as a learning experience for me! I think it is necessary to keep the bad shots to remind you what to do the next time for a good one! Thank you so much for the comments and advice!

@grammyn I don't know if cropping is considered post-processing. It's just reducing the size of the picture. If you're thinking of it when you take the shot, then yes, you can step closer. But sometimes you don't think of it until it's on the larger screen. That's where trimming some of the extraneous things off of the picture (like the red car bumper) can come in handy. I suppose that is altering the picture, but it's not like adding effects or changing the colors. This looks fine- sorry I gave you the impression that it didn't!

@olivetreeann, Oh, Ann! I was only playing with you! Didn't you see the little smiley face? Actually I agree with you and tried to convey that in my rambling.

@grammyn No problem- there are just times when my fingers believe I should clarify something and they start typing before I know it!
