My friend CJ is doing a month of photographic techniques in alphabetical order (over achiever I say!) and he posted over exposure yesterday. http://365project.org/cjphoto/365 I was inspired by that to take this shot. Perhaps not as good as his but ....
How awesome!! What I find interesting about the overexposure here is that because the light is coming from the background, overexposure may have prevented the flower from becoming a silhouette. You get to see its beautiful color and detail. Outstanding and so happy CJ and I were able to give you some inspiration!
@vstap i value your opinion! thanks so much! @summerfield thanks so much! That means a lot to me and maybe I'll take another of it soon. @olivetreeann Thanks bunches Ann! i am so glad you like it! @francoise Thanks Francoise! Iit is in my kitchen window and I just happened to see the bloom. @cjphoto Thanks again for the inspiration and motivation, Chris! thanks too for the FAV!
@kwiksilver Thanks Gillian! It is a piece of a plant that I picked up on the side of the road and put in water to root. I just noticed there was a flower on it a day or two before I took this!
