Another beautiful day...still figuring out new camera but really like what it produces...
Willamette River, Salem, Oregon.
this is fabulous, madeleine. i love the movement of the water, the ripples, that you have captured, as well as the colours. congratulations on the new camera. i have just got a new mirrorless, too, and still trying to figure out its not so obvious functions but have had really no opportunity yet to go around and about. are you happy with yours so far?

You were in a high place to look down on this tranquil scene! You should notice better focus with a good camera!

This is really neat. I like the way he makes ripples around where he is fishing.

I just love this one! The overview sets the scene and then the little figure with the big shadow, the ripples and the fishing line just finish the story! :)

Well captured, ripples and fishing line.

Very nice. I like the changing colour of the water. and placing the fisherman and the round ripples he creates right in the middle of the frame give a nice effect.

@summerfield thanks for the comment..I always appreciate when you write...as to the camera, I' m getting there...so many basics are different, even DOF perception seems different! Yried some panning & the continuos shooting rate was way different from my canon, it was challenging to keep up with camera!

@vincent24 I'm so glad mentioned that placing the fisherman in the center worked...thanks

I like the fishing line and the ripples.. a well timed shot which should remind you that it is the photographer that takes the shot, not the camera!
