A redo of flash of red...thank you Rob Z @robz for the crop suggestion...and this time no saturation of color...just the red leather of the the belt. color space is very different on my computer than my phone so I know the calibration on the computer is correct but it seems to oversaturate in other devices....hmm.. Hope this red isn't as distracting...thanks,, Wendy @farmreporter for the input...
@robz So interesting to compare these two, which are really just different versions of the same shot, cropped and colored differently...this one seems to bring my eye more to the pearls; the other more to the belt. They seem so different and so the same...hmmm. I do like this one more...what about you?
@granagringa I swapped and swapped between them - and I think I miss the bold red - it lifted the whole image. And funnily enough the crop seems to have slightly changed the proportions - the pearls don't seem quite so important any more - although you said they caught your eye more. It's amazing how a tiny difference can make your overall impression alter. So tricky - I think you have the right idea with your repeated trials - you must have learnt a lot from this sequence. I wish I had as much patience! Cheers Rob
