Hope I don't bore you all with all these shots of pearls....and I do really appreciate your comments...and critiques...inspire me always to become more self critical but positive always to keep me encouraged! Thank you!
unusual bokeh from the pearls at the back and I love the double line of pearls at the front from that perfect reflection. I hesitate to criticise - lest it might be thought that I believe myself to be an expert - but call it a suggestion - I think I might have wanted to give a little more space at the top to bring the line of pearls somewhere about the third way up mark.
@helenhall No worries about giving input...I thrive on it...makes me think...but I'm not sure if you meant more negative space or to raise the line of pearls higher?
@granagringa I meant more negative space at the top. I have just had a play with it - out of interest - and liked it best with 100 per cent increase in height. That is a lot of negative space. Then that is purely personal. I also found that unless increasing the height of the image by a lot more than you think, it is actually better as you have it here. So for me - an interesting exercise - thanks.
@helenhall I'm flattered that you would think to play with this...no idea how you were able to increase the height...especially by that percentage. I just play with the composition as I am setting up.
