Prompt 9 - Older than I

The handle of a spoon from the silver(plated) flatware that my parents obtained for their wedding in 1936. I have no idea if this was a gift or a purchase they made themselves. Funny that I never thought about that until now. Either way, it would have been considered a great expense and a great sacrifice.

oh, i agree with helen. very clever composition and set up. i was going to do this 30-day challenge but i got side-tracked after 2 days so i abandoned it. i could always re-start at some point.
