Actually, more like Pause to Reflection...I don't know what kind of bird it is; there are a lot of herons in the area, but this didn't look like one to me, but I know little about identifying birds. Also, the entire background is reflection as well. Enjoy the autumn wherever you are.
@jgpittenger Ah, that makes sense. I always think of them as more coastal but it seems the Double-crested variety does come into the Willamette Valley. Thank you! And for your comment on the pic.
