low key evening (still life 1)

Not much interesting to see here except for my own learning curve....I haven't done a lot with still-life composition and lighting so thought I'd give it a try and challenge myself a bit with this. And challenging I am finding it.

And as I am all into finding things at home to shoot...here goes. The lighting was two small flashlights (aka: torches).
Beautiful

Again another great one for lightamateur which is about learning to do inside photography without a lot of fancy equipment.

This is truly a beautiful still life! Such soft light that makes this low key dreamy.

Absolutely love the tight crop as it concentrates the gaze very well.. the light is gorgeous, so well controlled.. the shadows are excellent.. a wonderfully crafted and executed shot..

Gorgeous. Might I suggest trying this again but this time moving the bottle forward just a bit so that it catches a little of those yummy reflections. Following.

I like the light here, which emphasizes the cheese and grapes while at the same time the lowkey of the wine adds some mysteriousness.

Beautiful light, using 2 flashlights! Wonder whether Rembrandt used something similar in his paintings
