Handrail

I am continuing to explore the 18-35mm range of my lens and trying to develop more of a sense for graphics and lines as major composition elements. Along with every thing else I'm trying to learn!

you got some good bokeh here , maybe the hand rail need a bit more sharpness , maybe a slight increase to your f number

You did a nice job getting the sharp corner and then the blurred angles in the background.

@phil_howcroft hmmm...thank you Phil for being so thoughtful...I see what you mean; I'm not sure if closing down I would have been able to control the DoF as much...I think I'll have to give it a try to keep just the rail in focus and the background a bit blurred...

A very nicely composed shot with great DoF although, as Phil says - the hand rail is a bit out of focus.
