An osprey nest...I'd never seen an osprey before and had to ask the photographers with those mighty lenses what bird it was. (I thought it was an eagle). This was taken in Buena Vista, a hamlet with a tiny ferry that crosses the Willamette River...the trip takes about 3 minutes and costs US$3 for the journey. Well worth it.
