I took this with my new camera Nikon 510, I believe if that's the correct #? I was trying both of them and this picture is of a golden part of the palm tree and can't remember what it is? I know it's not the fronds coming out, but thought it was an interesting shot.
@kittikat It's called a Queen Palm, native to Fl. We aren't sure what it is either without looking it up. If you notice at the bottom their is part of a same color tan like the large yellow/tan tall thing. These palms put out a "boot" which is part of the flower below. It can get very heavy. I'll do some research on it. I just thought it was interesting.
