Dandy Lion

This caterpillar was munching on a dandelion and he kind of looked like a dandy lion to me, therefore the title.

@paulchantler Thanks! And so do I. That was taken very very close with my 18-55 lens that camera. It seems to do pretty well on some extreme close ups, but does not always allow me to take one very close.

@paulchantler I have been corrected by two of my loved ones - With my Canon camera set on the flower mode (macro mode) and zooming the 18-55 lens in and getting as close as it will allow me, it does act like a Macro lens. I need to get to know my camera and lens' better and learn what they can do.
