Young Mockingbird by grannysue

Young Mockingbird

Best viewed large. This looks like a young Mockingbird. It is learning to fly. He still has a baby bird beak and some fuzzy feathers. I do not know what kind of tree it is in, but it has some type of berry on it.

I've been following our resident mockingbird pair for years and rarely see their babies. We have a lot of trees around here and the parents seem to keep them well hidden. I envy your find ;-)) Just beautiful!
